Isaiah 61:1-2 1The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2To proclaim the acceptable year of the [Lord]{.smallcaps}, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Luke 4:17-22 22And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 20And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. 22And all bare him witness, and wondered at the GRACIOUS WORDS which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?

110 Now, this Logos that was in Him, which was the Spirit of God, the Anointing, through the sanctifying grace of the Blood, brought many sons to God, which is anointed with this same Logos.

111 Now, on the day of Pentecost It come down, that Pillar of Fire, and broke apart like that, and tongues of fire set upon each of them, not their tongues, but tongues of fire set upon each of them, a elected, selected group, identified by this Pillar of Fire, showing that God had separated Himself into man. Do you get it? God, the Logos, separating Himself into man! God, not in one person, He’s in His Church universal. That’s the reason Jesus said, “The works that I do shall you also, more.” Now, I know the King James says, “greater,” but the right translation there is “more than this shall you do.” God was bottled and confined in one Man, Jesus Christ. But now He’s bottled and confined in the whole universal Church of the Living God.

Isaiah 10:24-26 24‍Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. ‍ 25‍For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction. **‍ 26‍And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.

Isaiah 10:27 27And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the ANOINTING.**

Isaiah 10:27 27And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the ANOINTING.**

AMP: because of the fatness—that prevents it from going around your neck!!

Translated as:

  • Oil: 173 times
  • Ointment: 10 times
  • Olive: 4 times
  • Fertile: 2 times
  • Rich (as in food): 2 times
  • Fat / Fatness: 1 time
  • Anointing: 1 time

NIV: “In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders, their yoke from your neck; the yoke will be broken because you have grown so fat.”

Yoke: a device used to govern and control directionally.

The scholarly “Keil & Delitzsch Commentary” treats Isaiah’s prophetic verse 27 like this:

"…the yoke, like the burden, will be taken away from Israel; that yoke itself will SNAP from the pressure of his fat strong neck against it…"

Psalms 107:15 (KJV) 15Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! 16For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

Destroy: to reduce (an object) to useless fragments, a useless form, or remains, as by rending, burning, or dissolving; to injure beyond repair or renewal; to demolish; to ruin; to annihilate. To put an end to, to extinguish.

Isaiah 52:1-3 (NKJV) 1Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion**; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; For the uncircumcised and the unclean shall no longer come to you. 2Shake yourself from the dust, arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem; Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck. O captive daughter of Zion. 3For thus says the Lord: You have sold yourselves for nothing. And ye shall be redeemed without money.

Jeremiah 30:8 8For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:

Romans 8:11 11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

29 And as I said last night, there is a portion of Word layed for every age. And there is some anointing comes down, that projects that portion of Word for that age. And you see where we’re at today. Read what we’re supposed to be doing, then you’ll know how far we are. I only see one thing left, the Coming of the Lord Jesus, at any time, a Rapture for the Church, and we’re to meet Him in the air. Now these things has got to come to pass in this day, just as He promised that He would do it.

John 7:37-39 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, **out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Isaiah 61:1-6 1‍The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;‍ 2‍To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;‍ 3‍To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.‍

4‍And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.‍ 5‍And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.‍ 6‍But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God:

1 John 2:18-20 (KJV) 18Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 20But ye have an UNCTION from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

What Was The Holy Ghost Given For?

112 It’s to give unction to the preacher. It’s to give holiness to the group. It’s to set the Church in order. It’s to bring a unity of Spirit. It’s to unite us together with Power. It’s to unite us together with love, brotherly love.

I don’t care if you’re a Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, whatever you are, if we’ve all been by one Holy Spirit baptized into one Body, and become members of the Body of Jesus Christ. There’s not…there’s nothing present, nothing future; hunger, starvation; nothing can separate us from the love of God, the love of Christ, “love of God that’s in Christ,” because we are borned of His Spirit, washed in His Blood. We are a new creature. That’s what God came to do. That’s what the Holy Spirit is for. Yes, sir. That’s what.

1 John 2:20 (AMP) 20But you have been anointed by [you hold a sacred appointment from, you have been given an unction from] the Holy One, and you all know [the Truth] or you know all things.

Unction = Anointing: (from 5548) an anointing, unction: anointing. The applying or smearing of an ointment in the reception of spiritual privileges – a supernatural sanction, blessing and endowment.

The Jewish New Testament Commentary says that it means: “You have received the Messiah’s anointing.”

It goes on to say this: “You have an anointing, but because of the context, this could be rendered, “You have been ‘Messiah-ed.’”

1 John 2:27-29 27But the ANOINTING which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 28And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

107 Now, that Pillar of Fire is the Logos that went out of God. The Logos, which is actually the attribute of the Fullness of God. When God become into a form to where It could be seen, It was the anointing of the great Spirit that went forth, It’s condescending, coming down, God, the Father, the Logos that was up over Israel, that…He was holy, could not bear sin. There had to be a blood offering right in Eden. **Then that Logos become flesh and dwelt among us; and where this Logos dwelt in a human body, which was the sacrifice… **

108 When man was made in the image of God…And then God came down in the image of man to redeem man; that brought man and God together. Heavens and earth hugged and kissed each other; God and man embraced each other as Fatherhood and sonship when the Logos became flesh and dwelled among us.

109 Jesus said, “I came from God, and I go to God.” Is that right? After His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, when the body was taken up to set at the right hand of God…Now, I don’t mean God’s got a right hand, God’s a Spirit. But at the right hand means “in power and authority of God.” That in that Name everything in Heaven is named after It and subject to It. Everything in earth is named after It and subject to It, a Name above all names, Jesus Christ.

110 Now, this Logos that was in Him, which was the Spirit of God, the Anointing, through the sanctifying grace of the Blood, brought many sons to God, which is anointed with this same Logos.

Luke 2:11 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Luke 2:11 (AMP) 11For to you is born this day in the town of David a Savior, Who is Christ (the Messiah) the Lord!

Messiah & the Anointed One: Webster says Messiah is a title given to “the promised Deliverer of the Jewish nation prophesied in the Hebrew Bible.” Messiah is derived from the Hebrew word [mashiach] which means “anointed one” and which corresponds to the NT title of “Christ” (Christos = anointed one).

204 What was He? Made Himself a Man. “God was made flesh, and dwelt among us. The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.” God’s spoken Word, through a virgin, brought forth a—a body. And in that body come the—the Water, the Spirit. “And washed by the Water of the Word.” And then went in Him, dwelt in Him, and there come the Life of God manifesting Himself through Christ**. God was in Christ, the anointed One.** Christ means “the anointed One,” a Man that was anointed. “And God dwelling in Him.” What was it? The Germ with the flesh, the anointed One, flesh being anointed with the Spirit of God, produced the Word of God made manifest. “And we beheld Him, the only begotten of the Father, full of grace.” See?

It Becometh Us To Fulfil All Righteousness

88 See, Aaron, the high priest, before he could ever be anointed, he had to be washed with water. Therefore, when Jesus, before He could be anointed, our High Priest, He was washed with water.

89 And then that anointing Oil poured upon Him, to anoint Him. Like Aaron was anointed with oil; He was anointed with the Holy Ghost. “For John bare record, seeing the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and going upon Him; and a Voice saying, ‘This is My beloved Son in Whom I am pleased to dwell in.’” So the Bible said that, “Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost, went about doing good things.” See, He was anointed.

90 And before He was anointed, He had to fulfil all righteousness. See, He had to be washed with water before the Anointing come upon Him.

91 And it’s a very beautiful type of us today, as priests unto God. We must be first baptized, confess our sins and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, washing away our sins; and then you shall receive the Anointing, the gift of the Holy Ghost. See, washed first, and then anointed for the service. No minister should enter the pulpit without first being baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ. ‘Cause, there is only…Remission of sins is only in Jesus Christ’s Name, no, not another name under Heaven given among men. “Repentance and remission of sin must be taught in His Name, beginning at Jerusalem.” That’s where the Holy Ghost fell and anointed, first. So, a minister or any believer must first be washed from his sins, in the Name of Jesus Christ; and then anointed with the Holy Ghost, to bring forth a testimony for God.

22 Then when God was made flesh and became the Messiah, then if we can yield ourselves to be the anointed like He was, we become Messiahettes, little Lights. That’s what the church is supposed to be: lights, little anointed ones. That’s God’s church.

His standing Light is the Light of Messiah, risen Christ in His people, the anointed ones, carrying forth His Light into all the church ages. Sometimes It almost goes completely out; then It comes back again. God’s anointed One, God’s Messiahic church… If Messiah means “the anointed One,” and means “King,” then if the church is anointed by the Messiah Spirit, it becomes a lesser but still a Messiah; because it has His Light, reflecting His power, reflecting His glory, reflecting His dominion. So it is Messiah. Oh, how it reflects Him in His Kingdom in His domain.

The trouble today, we’ve organized the church to death, and we got organization instead of Messiah Light. We’ve got Russellite, proselyte, and all other kinds of light. But we need Messiah Light, what the church needs today: the Light of the Messiah. Oh, I love Him for His goodness.

23 Now, that is true. God called Messiahs… God called us, and we become kings and priests unto God. Like Jesus was God’s High Priest, we become a lesser priest. Jesus was… God in Fullness dwelt in Him to shine forth the expression of God to the world, for God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. And as God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, God comes into His church and anoints Him some Messiahettes. Oh, my. Do you see it?

The same things He did is in His church. The same power He had is in His church. And His church becomes His dominion, and He’s King over this dominion, and we are kings and priests, offering spiritual sacrifices to God, the fruits of our lips giving praise to His Name. Amen. Oh, my. There you are: Messiahettes, Messiahettes, little messiahs, little anointed ones. Anointed off of what? The main One, anointed off of the great One.

63 …God wants eaglets. He wants Messiahettes. He wants men and women who have signs and wonders, anointed ones. He wants a church that’s filled with the Holy Ghost, a church reflecting Him the same yesterday, today, and forever. God didn’t die. He just borned a Kingdom, got His Messiahettes in it. Amen. Every word He says, they say “amen” to it. That’s right. Yes, sir. They look like Him, act like Him; they believe it, got the Conductor moving right on out with signs and wonders following. That’s Messiah. Messiah lives tonight. He isn’t dead. He’s alive for evermore. You believe that?…

And they did according to the word of Moses. 8And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying, 9Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: 10And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

God’s Provided Approach To Divine Fellowship

13 We want to think now on the 19th chapter of Numbers. God told Moses and Aaron, “Go, take a red heifer…” Now, the symbol of red, many times is a bad color or danger, but red also means an atonement. “Go get a red heifer, all red, not a spot on her.” She represented, of course, Christ. And this heifer must never have a yoke upon it’s neck. If it ever was yoked, then it is—it’s condemned. It must not be yoked up with the world.

That’s the way the church is today. Christ, when He came, He never yoked Himself with the world. He stayed with God, and He was not yoked up with the world. The church that worships God today, is yoked with Christ, under the Blood.

Then we find that this heifer was to be killed in the evening time in the presence of all of the church. Eleazar was to catch her blood upon his fingers, and walk towards the door of the tabernacle, and sprinkle the blood seven times, or otherwise, put seven stripes over the door of the congregation. Then the heifer was to be burned: hoofs, horns, hide, flesh, and all. And in this burning of the heifer, it was to be mixed with hyssop (hyssop, I believe the better word for it…pronounced that way), hyssop, scarlet, and cedar wood.

God’s Provided Way Of Approach To Fellowship

34 “Bring me a red heifer upon which was never a yoke.” (Not yoked up with anything else.) “Bring her, and let her be brought before Eleazar, the High Priest, and the congregation, and let them kill her. And let Eleazar take the blood upon his fingers and sprinkle stripes over the door of the congregation seven times.” Then said, “Let them burn her body with her hoofs, with her horns, and all that she is. And then take scarlet, and hyssop, and cedar wood, and throw it into the sacrifice, and burn this together.”

And then they was to mix it with water, and put it in the—a clean place. And it was to be a waters of separation to separate the sinner (the Christian) from his sins, to bring him into fellowship again. Now, what happened? If a sojourner or a stranger or either a children of Israel had sinned and done wrong, they came to the outer courts first.

35 And I want you to notice the mixing of the sacrifice, beautifully. Now, the first there was put in cedar, scarlet, and hyssop. Those three elements…You notice, they’s used in the Bible, many times it speaks of a covenant. Now, you take a three cornered piece of glass and shine it to a light (a sun) it’ll produce seven different colors, a rainbow color. If you’ll put the three and against the sun, it’ll reflect the rainbow, and a rainbow stands for a covenant.

Now, I studied this some time ago, on what does scarlet mean in the Bible? Scarlet was ram’s wool that had been dyed in blood, knowing that something died to color the animal a different color. The ram was a gray color, grizzle, which is a hypocrite color. But once dyed in the red…And anybody here that knows anything about science, knows that you can take anything red and look at red, and red through red looks white.

36 Therefore, when your sins be as red as crimson, and God looks at them through the Blood of His Son, you become white as snow. Red through red looks white; that’s the approach. Red looking at red turns white. God, looking at the sinner, that’s confessed he is a sinner and has accepted God’s provided way of approach, God sees him white as snow. There you are. Looking red through red…

He can’t look through a creed; He cannot look through a denomination; He cannot look through something else. It must be the Blood and the Blood alone. Oh, how I remember the old Salvation Army song:

Oh, precious is that flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.

42 But, remember, the Bride will be a called-out, separated and different, filled, Holy Ghost born, washed in the Blood of the Lamb. She’ll abstain from everything that’s filthy, around her Husband. She is a chaste virgin, pure, by the Word. The Word and her are the same. As a man and his wife becomes one, in union, so does the real genuine Church of God. When he becomes in Christ, the Bible is punctuated with an “amen,” every promise. Don’t make any difference what the denomination says. The soul that’s in the believer, punctuate it, because it is the Word in him speaking out.

82 That’s the reason Jesus is coming for a chaste Virgin, pure, filled with the Holy Ghost, and not of the world, but of the Power of God. Oh, how wonderful to know that there is a possibility to get into this Group! How do you do it? You’ll never do it by joining into organization. There you are; take you out of this old earthly pesthouse. He’s gone to prepare a place, a perfect place where no evil exists, no sickness exists, no old age exists, no death exists.

It’s a perfect place calling you to that perfection, and you have to be perfect to get there. The Bible said so. Jesus said, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect.” It’s a perfect Kingdom, so it must be a perfect people come. Because, you have to stand and be married to a perfect Son of God, and you must be a perfect Bride. So how can you do it through anything else but the perfect Word of God, which is, “The Waters of separation, that washes us from our sins”? Amen. That’s right. And the chemistry was only a signal or a sign of sanctification, but the Life Itself is the Token; for without the circumcision, without the Token, you’re not even in the covenant. The whole thing works together. If you say you’re circumcised to the Word, and It only, then you’ll believe the Word; if you believe the Word, then the Token has got to come, for he said, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” There you are. Oh, my!

206 Notice then the preparation for His promised-land people. Notice what He did. First, He had a people that He had made a land for them. He had prepared a land for them. And now He sent down there a preparation for it, for the promised-land people. It was only for those who were predestinated to that promised land, Bride day. And how He done it, He sent a prophet with a message, identified it by a Pillar of Fire, and gave a token that they could rest assure that it was right. That’s right. It was her consolation.

207 Israel, coming out of Egypt then, was a—a type. This is the antitype, of the Church coming out of the denominations. Now, not all denominate. I mean the Bride. See? Some people, there is some of the independents just as bad as the denominationals, sometimes worse than.

208 I’m talking about the applied Token. The Token agrees with every Word. See? It’s got to, because It is the Word. It’s the Life that was in the Word. “My Words are Spiritual; They are Life,” said Jesus. See?

209 When Moses begin His ministry in Israel, with great signs, you see, Israel quickly gathered from all over Egypt, to Goshen, coming back to the homeplace, ‘cause they knowed something was fixing to happen. Oh, what a type!

53 Now let’s look at another type while we’re along here, that’s, the type of the passover, foreshadowed Jesus. We notice here the sacrifice of blood, by death. The sacrifice of blood was the place that foreshadowed Christ. Can a denomination bleed; could you think of a church bleeding, a denominational bleeding? Certainly not. It taken blood, to bleed from a life. And, the life, here Jesus comes in view by the lamb. The lamb was a type of Christ, and foreshadowed Christ, because He was “the Lamb of God,” that John introduced, “that takes away the sin of the world.” We find Jesus coming into view, here in Exodus the 12th chapter.

54 Notice, it was the only place death could not strike. When death was about to strike the land, there had to be a certain place; all from under this died. Only one place! Now, it didn’t mean it was one house; but there was one place, that’s where the lamb was killed. Where the lamb’s blood was, the death angel could not strike, because it was the one place God had put His Name. And that lamb was named back there in the beginning, a lamb. Notice, it was the one place he could not strike.

55 And now the same is today. There is only one place that spiritual death cannot strike, that’s the Word. Death can’t strike the Word, because It’s the living Word of God.

But when you put creeds with It, the Word moves out to Itself. It’ll separate like water from oil. You cannot mix it together. Therefore, you see, when the creed comes into a denomination, they all go after the creed; and the Word dies out, and goes on with somebody else and increases It more. Picks up the momentum, as It go from justification, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Ghost, and on out into the Grain! Do you see the path God has trod? Bringing His Name, all the time, right down the same way, because He is the Word.

Notice, It can’t die. The Word of Life can’t die.

56 Notice how perfect, now. The death angel was not forbidden to strike Egypt’s great intellectual people. It wasn’t forbidden to strike its sacred lands, its great buildings, its pharaohs. Or, the priests of the land, the angel was not forbidden to strike. It could strike any building, any place, anybody, but it could not strike where the lamb was. Death cannot strike where this provided place of God is, and that is in the Lamb.
