(Singing:)  "Turn your eyes upon Y'shua . . ."

Hallelujah.  We bless You, Lord.  We bless You, Lord.  Hallelujah.  We bless You, Lord.

Before we get into the Word I want to sing a song.  And before I do that, we want to welcome all of those who couldn't be with us in Jerusalem this morning but who are streaming with us.

Ten streams are going out.  What a wonderful blessing that is. We thank the Lord for that.

I believe that the Lord Jesus is still a miracle worker.  I believe He's still able to perform miracles today.

And you may be like me.  You may need a miracle.  Amen.  I need a miracle.  But I know Who holds the miracles.  Hallelujah.

(Singing:)  "There's a miracle in the making . . ."

Hallelujah.  Hallelujah.  Lord, we thank You in advance for every miracle that You're releasing from the heavenlies upon us right now.

We receive it.  Hallelujah.  We thank You for breakthroughs in the Spirit.  We thank You for releasing finances and provision in every life.

We thank You for perfect healing that was paid for in the atonement.  It's ours.  You promised it and You paid the price for it, and You made us the beneficiary of that which You've done.

We receive the miracles of healing into our own bodies.  And we receive provision, hallelujah, and breakthroughs in every area of our lives.

We just thank You.  We thank You, Lord.  With grateful hearts, we've gathered in this place to lift up Your Name.  Hallelujah, hallelujah . . .

Sing this little chorus with me before we read the Scripture.  Maybe you know it.  It's really old.

(Singing:)  "There's a roof up above me . . ."

Let's just clap our hands for the Lord.  Oh, You're so worthy, Lord.  You've provided everything we need.  We love You this morning.  Amen.

Could we stand for just a moment?  You won't be standing long.  And let's just read the Scripture that the Lord placed on my heart.

It'll be something that you're all very familiar with.  And it means something all over the world.  But it really means something where we're standing on this particular day.

Matthew, chapter 24.  Most of you, when you hear the address, Matthew 24, you know already what these Scriptures are talking about.

And in the beginning, it's talking about the destruction of the Temple, so many different things.

But in verse 3 . . . we want to read some of these Scriptures and just . . .  I want to make a small point.

We won't be too long together in the Word this morning, probably, but we'll just see what the Lord will give us.

Matthew 24 and verse 3,

3.  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4.  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5.  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6.  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7.  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8.  All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9.  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10.  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11.  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12.  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14.  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15.  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16.  Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17.  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18.  Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19.  And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20.  But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21.  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22.  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23.  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24.  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25.  Behold, I have told you before.

26.  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27.  For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28.  For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29.  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30.  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven . . .

And He goes on.  I want to skip down to verse 36 - excuse me, verse 32.

32.  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33.  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34.  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35.  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Father, we thank You for these Words.  We have become familiar with them over the years of studying the Scripture and yet we recognize, oh Lord, that in this hour we're living in, all these things are coming to that place where we would be able to say, "All is fulfilled.  It is finished."

And the only thing that remains then is for the other Scriptures that You have given us about the End-time - Your mercy returning to Your people and so many other things we're looking for the fulfillment of.

And we thank You, Lord, that You are anointing our eyes with eye salve and letting us see the day we're living in.

Lord, bless this time together in Your Word, and we'll give You glory and praise.

BaShem Adonai Yeshua HaMashiach, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray.  Amen.  And the church said, "Amen."  You may be seated.

Now, I know that I don't have anything to tell you that you don't already know.  But I believe that sometimes we want to place again the hour that we're living in, the season that we're living in, the fulfillment of what God has done and yet that which is just ahead of us.

Next week, here in the Land, we will celebrate Independence Day.  And it's a special time for any student of the history of this nation.

You know, it was a day . . . This particular day, May the 14th, 1948, was a very special day, but it was also a terrible day.

It was a mixed day.  Great things happened, and yet within just a few minutes of this declaration being spoken, war broke out.

And when we study and we read about the loss of lives and the seriousness of this little nation that one day before was not a nation and in this one day it became a nation . . .

And in the day that it became a nation, every nation that bordered her was against her.  Overnight, she had armies marching toward her.  What a very serious thing.

Prophetic Word:

I've often wondered about this verse of Scripture, and the Lord was dealing with me about it in the night.

I woke up and I heard this Scripture playing as though it were playing out on a loudspeaker.

And I looked and I had already put my MP3 player away and laid it on the nightstand several hours before.

And there were no tapes playing.  I listened to see if somebody else in the house was listening to a tape.  And I didn't hear anything.

And I lay there for just a few minutes and all of a sudden, I began to hear it again.

It was exactly as it's found here in verse 34.  The Words just boomed in the room.

34.  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

When we read Matthew, chapter 24, there are different portions of this chapter describing different times.

If you'll notice there's a verse that said, "All of these things will happen and yet the end is not yet."

And then we have another set of situations, descriptions and scenarios, and then it says again, "This is not yet the end.  Some other things are going to happen."

So I think that when we read Matthew 24, we can see that it's not talking about just one little portion of time.

Some of these things were fulfilled many, many years ago when Titus came and his armies destroyed the city of Jerusalem.

And yet the Bible says some things in this chapter that let us know we're not referring to Titus.  They're referring to the hour we're living in.

For instance, verse 14.

14.  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

When I woke up this morning, I remembered what had happened in the night.  And I remembered how this Scripture had come booming out in the Spirit through the room - "This generation . . ."

And I started thinking.  I went down early, and I started thinking about a generation.  And I've . . .

Over the years of being in church, as you have, I've heard many different definitions of the word "generation."  Haven't you?

So I started searching a little bit to see what people say a generation is.

Well, some genealogists say that a generation can be as short as 25 years.  Some said 30.  A lot of people say 40 years make a generation.  Some people said . . .

I read some other places and they said, "Oh, a generation is 60 years for sure, no doubt about it - 60 years."

And then there were other places it said a generation is 70 years.

And so I've determined we don't have any idea exactly how long a generation is.

But I'll tell you what we do know.  We know what the Bible said in the Book of Psalms.

Would you look at Psalm 90 and verse 10?  The Bible gives us the definition of a generation.

Psalm 90 and verse 10,

10.  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

The psalmist, David, gives us the definition of the generation of years of mankind and he says threescore years and ten which is how many years?  Seventy years.  And if by reason of strength it could possibly reach eighty years.

And then I began to think about something, and we won't go into the depth of it.  It's very complicated.

But I'll just show you a verse in Matthew, chapter 1, that confirms this seventy-year Biblical definition of a generation.

Matthew, chapter 1 and verse 17,

17.  So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon (the exile) are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations (fourteen, fourteen, fourteen).

I began to study a little bit and I found where a mathematician had put together from history this fourteen generations, and then another fourteen generations, and then another fourteen generations.

Historically, he found it was very accurate.  It was exactly fourteen generations from Abraham to David if you divide the years by seventy.

If you divide the years by seventy you would find out that from Abraham to David it was exactly fourteen generations of seventy years.

Somebody said, "Why does that matter?"

Well, I think it's a Biblical confirmation that the Bible has defined a generation as 70 years.

And then if you'd go from David until the exile in Babylon, it was exactly fourteen generations of seventy years.

And if you come from the exile of Babylon until the coming of the Messiah, you would come to fourteen generations of seventy years.

The Bible said that this generation, the generation that sees all of these things come to pass that we read about in Matthew 24 . . .

We also read about it in Mark, chapter 13, and also in Luke, chapter 21.

Here is a trilogy of the same kind of description of End-time events - Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21.

And all three places we have this verse that says that the generation that sees these things will not pass away until all is fulfilled.

"Heaven and earth . . ."  He goes on to say after that, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away."

Then I found something that I believe the Lord directed me to, and it is a summary of things that took place in the year 1948.

I felt such a witness in this.  We are two years away from the 60th anniversary of the founding of the nation of Israel - two years away.  This is 2006.  In 2008, it will be sixty years.

I want to just read this to you and see if you have any kind of witness in your spirit.

The 1948 connection is this:  The restoration of the Jews to the Promised Land is one of the most staggering fulfillments of Bible prophecy to occur in the last two thousand years.

The Hebrew prophets all foretold an eventual restoration of Israel, even addressing the future state by name in some cases centuries after Israel had ceased to exist.

In his book entitled Personal Witness, ambassador Abba Eban . . . probably didn't pronounce that just right . . . one of Israel's founding fathers and Israel's first foreign minister wrote these words:

"In accordance with our plan, a letter from Weizman to President Truman had been sent on May the 13th asking him to recognize our new state.  The expected infant state was still nameless . . . (I found this very interesting) . . . since the Zionist leaders were still studying and arguing over what the name should be."

One day before Israel was determined, recognized as a nation or a state, they were still trying to decide what to call it.

The leaders were arguing over the name.  Some suggested it must be called Judea.  Others said it must be called Zion.

And then someone said, "What about the name Israel?"

It seems as though they were not completely aware that the Bible had already prophesied what the name would be.

They're really arguing over the name as though they had some control over it.

And so, when Weizman wrote the letter to President Truman, he couldn't even tell him what the name was going to be.

He just said, "Tomorrow we're going to announce the formation of a Jewish state and we want you, the United States, to acknowledge this declaration.  And we have yet to determine what the name will be."

Although Ezekiel confidently wrote about the restored Jewish state, calling it by name, Israel, 2500 years before it came to pass - a prophecy that Ezekiel made 2500 years before, giving the name.

And those who actually served as midwives for the rebirth did not even decide on the name until the very day before it was announced.

Hosea said in chapter 9, verse 10,

10.  I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time . . .

Joel prophesied concerning the northern invaders of Israel - "He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree . . ."

There are many, many references (and I know you know this) in the Old Testament to Israel being referred to as a fig tree.

And then all of a sudden in Matthew 24, we have the Lord saying, "Learn the parable of the fig tree . . ."

How many of you believe He was speaking about this nation?  Certainly He was - the re-gathering of the Jewish people.  ". . . when his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves . . ."

You know, that's pretty much seasonally the hour we're living in right now because if you go out in the Land, you'll see that the branches of the fig tree are still tender and they're beginning to put forth their leaves.

And it helps you to know that summer is at hand.  We're in the season of spring, and summer is at hand.

And we know that in 1948, the fig tree, Israel, the nation, began to put forth leaves, so to speak.

And Jesus said that generation, the generation that would see all of these things fulfilled, would not pass away.

Listen at some of the things that happened the same year.  The Bible teaches us that a pivotal event in history would take place simultaneously with the birth of a revised Roman empire.

On January the first, 1948, a unified Europe declared . . .  They rose up and they declared on January the first, 1948, that Europe was now united after going through the war, after experiencing so many things.

There was a declaration that went forth the first day of 1948 and said, "Now this Europe is raising up."

It was the birth of what we know today as the European Union, and it happened the very same year, the first day of the year, 1948.

The Bible already also speaks about, in Revelation chapter 13 and verse 11, a religious system that will be raised up at the time of the End.

The Bible describes that it will have two horns like a lamb.  How many of you know what religion a lamb represents?  Does anybody know?

Christianity.  These are symbols of Christianity.

The Bible talks about this counterfeit religion.  "Are you saying Christianity is counterfeit?"

Well, that's not exactly what I'm saying.  However, Christianity's very, very pagan.

But how many of you would know what year the World Council of Churches was formed?  1948.

1948 the World Council of Churches was born - 1948.

So you've got the beginnings of what we now know, the European Union, which is very, very powerful - very powerful unit.

It's kind of shocking when we travel now in Europe because it is a reality that there is a unified Europe.

For us, for my generation, we didn't understand the importance of Europe being unified.

But we get a hint of it now when we go into the airport in Europe and we're checking in, and there's a special line for all European Union passport holders.

If you hold a European Union passport, meaning if your passport is issued from a nation that is a part of the European Union, using the Euro . . .

Here all these different nations de-evaluated their own currency and accepted . . .

For Germany . . .  And I know our German sister is listening.  For Germany, it was a financial disaster - a financial disaster.

We've touched a note.  There's a German in the midst.  We've touched a note.

I spoke with people who lost thousands of dollars, the equivalent of thousands of American dollars, overnight, just like that, because the currency was de-evaluated.  The nation accepted the Euro.

And what's so sad is this European Union is still marching forward, and they're considering taking in these nations that have lived in such poverty.

All of a sudden, you're going to put a nation like Germany that's been a strong nation . . . and you're going to put it right beside a nation that has lived forever in poverty.

And all of a sudden, their currency is going to be exactly the same.  And their motives and goals, and so forth, are going to be exactly the same.  We see that.  And we don't know exactly where it's going, but we know it's a powerful force.

And I find it interesting that we have the origins of this unified Europe beginning in 1948 and the beginning of the World Council of Churches, 1948.

And then we read on a little bit and we find that the Scripture talks about a global political system that will coexist with an international or a world economy.

How many of you have ever heard of a group of people called the World Trade Organization?

We hear about it all the time now.  WTO - a trade organization empowered to regulate the global economy - saw its genesis in "The General Agreement . . .

The document is called, "The General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade."  It was enacted by the United Nations in 1948.

The UN began earlier than 1945.  But in 1945, it officially organized ? June 25th of 1945.

In 1948, the General Assembly . . .  I had to think of what it was called.  The General Assembly of the UN said, "We're putting in act a general agreement on tariffs and trade in 1948."

It was the beginning of the World Trade Organization also in '48.

So we have religion changed forever - 1948.

The European situation changed forever in 1948.

And now this economy, or the economic system, changed forever in 1948.

The Bible predicted that the global economy would fall under the control of a single individual power who will be able to regulate commerce right down to the individual level.

In other words, the Scripture started talking about in Revelation, chapter 13, that no one would be able to buy . . .

We're talking about worldwide now.  This is the emphasis - worldwide no one would be able to buy, no one would be able to sell, no one would be able to trade unless they carried this mark of the beast.

And that's a deep subject that we won't go too far into today - the mark of the beast.

When the Bible talked about that, there was absolutely no technology . . . you know this . . . no technology to put that kind of a system in action all over the world - that no one could buy or sell unless they have the mark of the beast.

And yet the Bible said exactly that.  No one would be able to buy, sell or trade unless they had the mark of the beast.

Well, guess what happened in 1948?  Something happened in 1948 that would help that Scripture come to pass.

Computers were invented during World War II.  I guess most of you know that.  Computers were invented during World War II.  But how many of you know what they looked like?

Well, I've seen pictures of these computers and they filled rooms.

Even when I was a boy . . .  And I wasn't born in World War II, as most of you know.  But even when I was a boy, I went to my mother's bank.  She was working at a bank where she still works today.

And they took me into the basement and, literally, the basement of the bank, larger than this room, was filled with computers.

And I said, "What are these computers?"

And some of the main frames were as big as this bookcase.  And they were all stacked up.  And these were computers to track the business of the bank.

But in 1948, same year that all these other things happened, there was a company called Bell Labs.  Maybe some of you've heard of it.

And guess what they invented?  In 1948, they invented a transistor chip that has now become evolved into what we know as a microchip that processes the computer.

What makes the computer run now is about this large.  And we can carry a computer in our pocket - not a laptop or a desktop.

I often kid at home about my first laptop computer.  I bought one when they first were coming out.

And I am not exaggerating to tell you . . .  And I still have it in the barn.  I'm not exaggerating to tell you that it was about this wide, all the way across here, and it literally would cover my whole lap.

There was no way you could've put that on your lap.  It was called a laptop.

You couldn't put it on your lap.  It was too big.  It had to go on a desk.

And the screen . . . it raised up real funny out of it.  It didn't fold open like it does now.  It slid on some kind of little track and the little screen was only about that big.

The screen was only about maybe two-thirds the size of the computer.  It wasn't equal like it is now - just a screen popped up.

And I was so proud because I had the entire Message . . .  I had all of Brother Branham's sermons on this little laptop, and it was so heavy you could hardly travel with it.  But I did.  I carried it all over the world.

And now I can put all these sermons in something that will fit in my pocket.

When Brother West helped me to pick out my first desktop computer like this one, he went with me.

And I remember saying to him, "I'll never fill up one gig."

It was becoming popular to buy one gig of hard drive space.  I don't know what we were having . . . What did you call it before?  Megabytes.

And what do you think the average computer was?  540 megabytes.

And we thought that you could put the world in that.  You'd never use it up.  And I said, "Brother, I don't think I'll ever use up a gig, one gig of . . ."

My iPod that I carry in my pocket is 60 gigs, and it's almost full of information.

I have a little portable hard drive, smaller than this, that I can plug into my computer that's 60 gigs.  We carry around a little pocket USB that can plug in that'll carry a gig of information.

It's amazing how things have shrunk from this room, what a computer would've looked like, to these little pocket devices.

And it all came about because of this little discovery of the transistor chip in 1948 that really signaled the birth of the computer age that we know today.

And something that was prophesied in the Scripture could now easily be carried out - that no one could buy or sell or trade because it could be tracked.

It could be kept up with with a computer, and it wouldn't take a computer as big as this room.
It could be something that someone could carry around in the palm of their hand.

And how did that come about?  In 1948.  A lot of things changed.

Did you know that what we know . . .  The Scripture talks about rumors of war - not just war, but rumors of war.

What about this Cold War?  It's old news now.  It's over.  People don't hardly talk about it any more.

But the Cold War began with something called the Berlin Airlift.  Maybe you remember it, or remember about it.

The Berlin Airlift is what officially began the Cold War, and it happened in 1948.  And this is also . . . you know what happened in this Soviet Socialist Republic.

Brother Branham received a Word from the Lord that was very strange.  And it didn't say to watch the USSR.

But he was given a Word that said to watch Russia.  And a lot of Bible teachers say that Russia is dead.  There's nothing to fear, there's nothing to worry about.

Oh, but I want you to know Russia is still a powerful force.  They're living, of course, in poverty, but still the government controlling that.

And I can see where they could have an important part in some of the Scriptures that we read about in the End-time - the army of the north coming down.

We could still see something out of Russia.  Amen?

What about earthquakes?  Did you know that these seismologists who study these kinds of things say that all of a sudden in 1948, there was a measurable increase in the size, scope and intensity of earthquakes.

It was such an unusual thing that it's recorded and it's taught to all the students who study earthquakes and geologists and who study the seismic activity of the earth.

1948 is known as the year that all of this activity doubled.  And some people say all of a sudden it tripled and has been growing in intensity ever since.

Don't you find it strange that all of a sudden it just started getting worse in 1948 when all of these other things were happening?

We can . . .  It's said that this modern period of ethnos against ethnos, meaning even tribe against tribe - not only nation against nation, but race against race, and so forth . . .

It's said that it can be traced back to the real death of colonialism.

We know how that the British empire had conquered a great part of the world and how they had set up colonies, British colonies, all over the world, all across Africa and Asia, and so forth.

And in 1948, historians say, it was the death of colonialism and it was the beginning . . .

Instead of everybody raising up to fight against this big European country, the United Kingdom, or England or Great Britain, now they started fighting one another.

There was no need.  Colonization was over.  And England was no longer in control.  And so immediately the emphasis of fighting changed.

Instead of fighting the great enemy, they started fighting one another.  And this is what the Scripture said, "nation rising against nation."

And many historians say this whole concept unfolded in 1948.

Medical science says that there was such an outstanding increase of deadly diseases in 1948 that there were ten or eleven new, very serious diseases that came on the scene for the very first time in recorded human history in 1948.

And the Bible talks about the increase of pestilences.

And that word in the Greek is traced back to diseases or the very same word that we get pharmaceuticals from.

Legislation was passed by the United Nations in 1948 . . .  And I wasn't familiar with these abbreviations.  I looked them up a bit.

But one issue was called the UDHR and the other one was called the UNCPR.

And these are two organizations that are considered the legal cornerstones of a developing globalist world view and the disintegration of US constitutional guarantees.

Two great mandates, I guess you could say, were issued from the UN in 1948.

And those mandates that went forth have gradually brought about, even in a powerful nation like America, the disintegration of US constitutional guarantees.

Also, morality worldwide began to plummet beginning in the year 1948, and it's traced to something that happened in Japan.

It was called the Japanese Eugentics Act.  It was the first legal abortion legislation ever passed in modern society.  It was passed in Japan in the year 1948.

There was an American woman by the name of Margaret Sanger who was so impressed with what Japan was doing when they issued this legal abortion legislation that she founded the premier abortion rights advocacy group in America.

Would you know what that would be called?  Would anybody remember what it would be called?

We hear it all the time in the news still in America today - Planned Parenthood.

And Margaret Sanger was inspired to found Planned Parenthood, which is really a pro-choice group, a pro-abortion, I think is really the best way to say it, "for abortion" group.

And it founded in 1948 immediately after this Japanese Act had been issued and had gone into powe, I guess you'd say.

It became legal in Japan in 1948 to have an abortion.

We heard great men of God during that time preach about things.

You know, Brother Branham said a very strange thing, and a lot of women have been very angry about it.

And perhaps it is a little hard, but I'm going to say it anyway just to remind you historically.

He said, "A great evil has been done in our nation."

And I guess, you know, we're waiting to hear what this terrible evil is.

He said, "Women have been given the right to vote."

Well, when you hear that today that sounds chauvinist, I guess, you know - chauvinist.

A woman given the right to vote - doesn't she deserve equal rights?  And how could anybody say that it's an evil thing that a woman would be given a right to vote?

And then you have to examine it historically, and you have to hear the rest of what he said.

It was the woman vote.  It was the vote of the women that elected a president like John F. Kennedy.

It's historically a fact that it was the vote of the women who elected a liberal Catholic president like John F. Kennedy.

And it is a legal fact that it was a woman's vote who placed this legislature into place that would legalize abortion in America.

It was the women lobbying and the women's votes that placed the right justices in place and put the right laws in place for these kinds of things to happen.

So, based on that, I can see that it was a very serious thing.  I'm not saying, myself, that women shouldn't have the right to vote.

But what I'm saying is it became a very serious thing because of this abortion issue and because they voted, "We want to have control over our own bodies."

If it was only abortion, that's one thing.  But it caused a downward spiral of morality worldwide.

Historically, we find that any generation that accepts the murder and the genocide of their own kind, their morals . . .

This goes all the way back to the Roman times and to the times of the Greeks who were . . .

I think you know that the Roman culture and the Greek culture perhaps was one of the most immoral cultures that the world has ever seen.

And the only thing like it today is our culture, the modern culture, the American culture we could say.

And it's a proven fact that when a nation of people, or a group of people, start killing the old ones, the sick ones, and they start . . .

For mercy's sake, you know, they say.  "We're going to let them die.  We're going to release them and let them die."

And babies that are born weak and babies that are born unwanted . . .

Anytime a people decide to do something like that, morality goes down - homosexuality goes up, morality goes down.

And all of these kinds of things began to flow out of the year 1948.  And there were many, many more that I could tell you with names.

What about this idea of the church being placed out of the school - no religion mentioned?

You know, we think about that starting in my time, you know, in my age or my school career.

But did you know that the decision was officially made in a court decision in the year 1948?

The case was called McCallum versus the Board of Education.

And this decision started a social breakdown in America.  And it instituted the ouster of God, kicking God out of the American education system.

And it started in 1948.  And from that, one of the greatest contributions to anti-Biblical teaching came forth in 1948.

It was a theory that we call the "Big Bang."

It was issued in 1948, and now it is accepted.  In fact, it is becoming more and more to the place in  America - the legislature is almost there - that it's going to be illegal to even mention Creation.  It's almost to that place now.

And teachers who even mention it as a theory are being in trouble - are being called to the office, some are being sued - even to mention it as a theory.

Now they can get up and say anything about Darwin's theory or the Big Bang theory, but all of a sudden if you even mention Creationism as a theory, it puts off all these red lights.

Oh, my, how far America has fallen, how far society has fallen.  And we can trace all these things back as far as 1948.

It's hard for me to believe because, I guess, my age looking back, I'm thinking the 70's.

I'm thinking that the 70's was the beginning of all this evil stuff, you know, but historically - 1948.

All of these things that I've talked about are described in Matthew 24.  They're described in Mark, chapter 13.  They're described in Luke, chapter 21.

And the Bible said that the generation that sees all of these things come to pass shall not pass away.

There's something that God is trying to tell us about the generation that we're living in right now.

"This generation shall not pass away until all these things be fulfilled."

Do you know, I believe there is absolutely no possibility whatsoever that these verses of Scripture are speaking about any other generation than the one we're living in right now.

I don't see any way in the world that it could be prophesying another generation out there.

This must be the generation that will see the consummation of all things.  This has to be the generation that will see the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We're not here this morning to talk about, or to debate, or to argue about a rapture, about two or three phases of His coming.

I think we are safe to say that this is the generation that will see the fulfillment of all the things that we read about in the Book of the Revelation.

If you're a person who strongly believes in the rapture or the resurrection of the Bride, then, of course, that would have to happen in the generation we're living in.

But I think we're also very safe to say that His second coming, when His foot will touch the Mount of Olives . . .

How many of you know the Scripture specifically gives us the place?

His foot will touch the Mount of Olives, and just as Israel was born . . . a nation was born in one day . . .  The Bible teaches us that a nation will be saved in one day.

Do you believe what I believe?  Do you believe what the Bible says - that all Israel will be saved?  I believe that.

I don't necessarily believe that means all Israeli citizens.  I don't necessarily believe that it means all citizens of any particular nation.  But I believe God knows those that are His.

And we see that beautiful thing happening where He puts His foot on the Mount of Olives, and they see Him.

His brethren see Him, and they recognize Him, and they see these scars in His hands.

And they ask Him, "What are these scars?"

And He gently says . . .  I think it's mercy that causes Him to say it this way.

"This is that which I received in the household of my friends."

And they recognize that this is the Messiah that has been rejected by the Jewish people all down through the nations.

And they receive Him.  They have no other choice but to receive Him.  He is the Messiah that they've been looking for.

When will this come?  It must be sooner than what we live like we believe.  It must be sooner than what we live like we believe.

Since no one can agree on how long a generation is, there must be an overlapping.  It must be that one generation overlaps another generation in some way.

In other words, I don't die before my children are born.  My children are another generation than I am.

We overlap.  A portion of my life overlaps their lives.

So anyway you slice it, anyway you examine it, and no matter how you define the word "generation," it has to be soon.

We are approaching the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of this nation.

For 2500 years, the Jewish people had no place to call their own, no flag to rally under.

But all of a sudden, May 14, 1948, a flag was raised and a declaration was made and an invitation was issued.

How many of you've read the declaration that was given over in Tel Aviv on that particular day?

It was an invitation to all the exiles - "You now have a place to come home."

And it's been 58 years later, and do you know what?  The exiles are still coming home.

They're still coming home 58 years later.  It's not completely fulfilled because the exiles are still coming home.

I met yesterday in a national park a very, very nice man.  And our boys were playing with a ball.

And their son came over.  And any time Benjamin and Joshua find anybody in Israel that speaks English, they're happy.  They're very, very happy.

And so last Sunday night on Ben Yehuda Street, they met a boy who spoke English.  And they had their ball with them - right in the middle of Ben Yehuda Street - and they had their ball with them.

And the father recognized that these boys spoke English.   He stopped and he let his children play.

And there they were playing, and it was just the language that kind of brought them together.  And that happened yesterday.

And my wife said to me, "The father wants to speak to you.  He keeps coming around and looking and going back and . . .  He wants to speak to you."

And so I walk over toward him, and he immediately started talking.  And he was Jewish and he was from South Africa.  And he'd been living here in Israel for several years.

And he and his family had made aliyah.  And he comes from the same heritage of Jewish people that my great-grandparents were from - Lithuania.

And I didn't know that there was a great number of Lithuanian Jews that had settled in South Africa.  I knew there were many who settled in Canada and in the United States.

But he said there were thousands that settled in South Africa, and he was the descendant of some of those Jewish people.  And he was so nice.

There were a few seconds there as we were talking . . . I don't remember exactly what was being said, but tears come to my eyes.

I couldn't help it.  They just filled up.  And I looked at him and his eyes were also full of tears.

And I started telling him a little bit about myself and finding out this about my great-grandparents.

And he said, "You mean, you had a love for Israel and for the Jewish people before you ever found out that there was any Jewish history in your family?"

And I said, "That's absolutely right."

And he said, "So is this, these last few years, the first time you came to Israel?"

I said, "2002 was the first time I had come in a long time.  But I was here in 1979 as an 11-year-old boy.  And while I was here, the Lord had given me a vision."

And I told him the vision of standing in this room with all these Holocaust bodies on the wall and being taken away into a vision.  And I saw myself in the same valley that Ezekiel described in Ezekiel 37.

And my, his eyes got big.  They got so big.  And he said, "You really experienced that, didn't you?"

And I said, "Yes."

And he said, "You know, some people say all kinds of things.  But I can feel . . . I can feel that you're telling me the truth, that you really had that experience."

And I said, "I certainly did."

And he said, "It just confirms something for me."

And I said, "Well, what would that be?"

And he said, "It confirms for me that the pulling that people have to this nation and to the Jewish people - it's deep and it's supernatural and it doesn't have anything to do with finding out that you're Jewish or finding out that you're not Jewish."

He said, "It's spiritual, isn't it?"

And I said, "It absolutely is."

And he said, "This is such a wonderful day."

And a terrible thing happened and that is . . . all Israelis have cell phones.

And a terrible thing happened.  His cell phone rang.  And he was distracted.  And he took a few steps away - he took a business call.

He came back and he never got back . . . we never found our way back to that same vein.

All of a sudden, the conversation was about football and . . . which I know nothing about . . . and sports.  And I don't know anything about that either.

And I was a little disappointed.  I thought, you know, it seemed like we were cheated a little bit out of . . .

But I believe it had such an impact on him.  And he said, "This confirms something for me."  He said, "I'm here . . ."

Of course, he encouraged me to investigate further and make aliyah.

He said, "What you need to do is get your proof in order and move here.  This is where you belong."  And I just smiled.

Anyway, moving right along - I just smiled.

But he said, "I really believe . . ."  And then, another part of the conversation that was very interesting was, he said, "I know about Jews for Jesus."

And I said, "You do?"

And he said, "Yes."  But he said, "I probably don't know about it from the same perspective that you do."

And I said, "Well, what would that be?"

And he said, "Well, I've been involved with it but in a different way."

And I said, "Well, how have you been involved with it?"

And he said, "Well, I've been involved in counter-missionary activity in South Africa."

And he said, "We tried to hold Jews for Jesus back."

And he said, "Not because . . ."  And he said,
"Honestly, not because of Christianity."

He said, "This was not my reason.  It's many other people's reason.  But my reason was because of the serious assimilation of the Jewish community in South Africa."

He said, "It was becoming very, very serious, and we were losing so many young people from our communities - not to the church, but to interracial marriages and to marriages that are forbidden in the Scripture, and on and on."

And he said, "I didn't attack it.  I just sort of stood against the wall that was . . . the flood that was kind of coming into the community."

And he looked like he thought I would be offended.  He was waiting for me to defend or something.

And he said, "Does that upset you at all?"

And I said, "Absolutely not.  I don't support any . . . Personally, I don't support any organization that actively is involved with evangelism of the Jewish nation."

He looked at me and he said, "What kind of Christian are you?"

And I said, "The Bible kind."

And he said, "I thought that all Christians . . . their goal in life was to evangelize the Jews."

And I began to talk to him a little bit about my faith and explain to him that that's the least of my worries.

I'm more concerned with seeing the church saved than I am the Jewish people saved.  And he looked at me so strange.

And he said, "What is wrong with you?"

He said, "This just doesn't make sense."

And he said, "Don't you think we need to be saved?"

And I said, "Yes, but the Bible prophesies the salvation of all Jews.  It's in the Scripture, and I believe one day it'll happen.

"And it won't be because of anything I've done that it's going to happen.  It's going to happen because God's Word said it would happen.

"I'm more concerned with dealing with the paganism that's invaded Christianity, and so forth."

And this man said, "These are unusual days."

He said, "You know, I'm not as religious as some, but I think that we're living in the days of the coming of the Messiah."

He said, "I really think so.  My wife doesn't understand me when I say it."  But he said, "I really believe that things are coming together and something is about to happen."

And my heart just witnesses that God's already . . .  Even without my evangelization of the Jews, even without my help, it seems like God's already doing His work, doesn't it?

Doesn't it seem like God's already softening people's hearts?

I just want to leave you with this.  I know this has been very scattered and different.  But I just want to leave you with this.

I believe that this is the generation.  I believe that . . .

We're talking about all kinds of anniversaries.

This is the 100th anniversary of the Azuza Street revival, the 100th anniversary of the great San Francisco earthquake that took so many lives - somewhere between 3500 and 5000.  They don't really even know how many people died.

And do you know what they're saying now?  They're saying now that if that same kind of earthquake, same magnitude, should hit San Diego today, it would be unbelievable damage - unbelievable, catastrophic damage.

And we're living in the season of all those kinds of things happening - the anniversaries of this, and the anniversaries of that.

And if a generation is 70 years . . .

Somebody said, "Are you saying we have ten or twelve more years?"

I don't know how long we have, but I can tell you this.  If we did, if I knew for a fact that it would be ten years before the Lord would come, I would still say it is so close.

How many of you know there's so much to be accomplished for the Kingdom of heaven?

And if we knew that we had ten years to do it, it would still be sooner than what we would really be able to comprehend.

There's so much that needs to be done for the Kingdom of God.  And I want to be used in whatever capacity the Lord would so desire.

Let's stand together.

We just love You, Lord.  We just thank You.  I thank You.

I know this is not a new revelation.  I know this is not a new revelation for anybody.  But I don't know why that Scripture was just sounding out in my spirit - "This is the generation . . ."

"Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away until all these things be fulfilled."

And Lord, we just wake up this morning realizing that we're coming near to that time when Biblically a generation would be fulfilled, it would come to an end.

And should it be twelve years, should it be ten, should it be a lapover . . .  You could come tomorrow.

We're not limiting You and not trying to determine the day or the hour.  But we just want to remind Your people that the nearness of Your coming is at hand.

Not only did you raise up this nation in '48, but we see so many other things that took place in that same year to let us know that Your Word is being fulfilled among us.

And there are many precious promises to Your people - things that must happen now in the End-time.

And Lord we want to position ourselves to receive from Your hand.  Oh yes, Lord.  We want to position ourselves to receive all that You have for us.

We know that hell is against the progress of Your Kingdom.  And we stand in the mighty name of Yeshua the Messiah, and we declare that the works of God must go forth in our lives.

Lord, help us to yield ourselves and to be obedient to You.  Hallelujah.  We want to do Your will.

If you're interested in doing the will of God, just slip your hand toward Him and just let Him know in some way, "I want to do Your will."

I just received a thought in my spirit last night why it's so important to stand before the Throne of God.

The Throne of God represents His government.  It represents His authority.  And it represents His will.

And the reason why we want to stand before the Throne and worship is because we want to know the will of God.  Because in order to do it, to carry it out, we have to know it.

And the only way we're going to know it is to come before His Throne.  And that's one of the reasons why praise and worship is so important.

We praise You this morning.  We worship You, Lord, and we acknowledge how privileged we are to be living in this hour.   (Tongues)

The nearness of all these things - the coming of the Lord, the consummation of the ages, the adopted sons of God being raised up in the earth to work the works of the Lord Jesus . . .

All these years You've been building a people, searching for a people, trying a people, molding and making a people that would come forth for a short season and manifest Your character, Your attributes and Your power in the earth.

And we're closer to that reality than we have ever been before.  And we submit ourselves for Your service.  Use us fully.

Let the knowledge and the wisdom of the Lord overshadow us.  May we walk in the knowledge and the wisdom of the Lord.

May we know the hour that we're living in and be faithful to declare it.  (Tongues)

I sense the Anointing of the Lord in now.  I sense His Presence just now.  Hallelujah.

Oh, we surrender and we report for duty.  More than ever before, we want to serve You.  More than ever before, we want to be obedient.  More than ever before, we want to be used for the purposes and the issuing in of Your Kingdom, oh Lord.

Help us.  Help us, oh God.  Deliver us from our ideas and bring us to the full revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Deliver us from our own opinions, our own dogmas and creeds, and let us see the reality of Your Word.

Let us hear the mandate that issues forth in this hour from the Throne of God.  Let us catch the wisdom that's coming from the Throne.  Let us catch the knowledge and the revelation that's coming from Your Throne.

May we recognize, oh God, our little part and do it.  Teach us to submit and to surrender.  Hallelujah.  (Tongues)

More than ever before, Lord, more than any other time in human history, there's a people who are recognizing what You want us to do.  Help us to get from the knowledge of what it is to the reality and fulfillment of doing it.

Transform us from the kingdom of this world into Your Kingdom.  (Tongues)

More time at Your table, Lord . . .  Help us to have more time at Your table to feast on the good Word of God.  For where the carcass is, the eagles gather.

We want to feast on the living Word.  Oh yes, we thank You that You're spreading for us the living Word, the Edicts of the Throne.

We thank You that the atmosphere of heaven is come and Your glory is falling in this earth among Your remnant of people gathered here and there crying out for more of You.

Oh, send revival to Jerusalem.  Send revival - not just a revival of emotion and feeling - but, oh, send the Holy Ghost, Pentecost, Day of Pentecost revival.

Send the fire of the Holy Ghost to burn out the chaff.  Restore the miracle power that has once gone forth in this City.

Oh Lord, we're standing in a nation that has become more political than spiritual, and we're disappointed that the church has taken the same path.

Oh, deliver us from the politics of churchanity and let us walk in the newness and realness of spirituality.

Break the will of stubborn men and women and let us be soft and humble and pliable in Your hand.  Mold us.  (Tongues)

(Singing:)  "I surrender all . . ."

Prophetic Word:

I just had an unusual inspiration.  And I'm going to close with this.

How many of you ever check the date on something that you're going to eat?  Do you ever check the expiration date?

Have you ever eaten anything anyway?  I have.  Have you ever looked and saw the date was out and you just ate it anyway?

But in the Spirit . . .  It's very strange . . .  I know that it's strange to say it this way, but I just had this inspiration that somebody is feeling like your usefulness has expired.  You know, you're just . . . you're coming to the end of your usefulness.

And I just want you to know that your ways are not God's ways.  God's ways are higher than our ways.  And He can use us.

Think about Sister Oralie.  She's not able to do a lot of things that she used to do, but God's not through with her.

When He's through with her, He's going to take her.  And those who have visited with her say she's just being a blessing to whoever comes through and by.

And I tell you, to think about God using somebody when they reach that age, that just shows you - you never expire.

You're not expiring.  Your usefulness is not about to run out.  Maybe you need to reposition yourself a little bit.  Maybe you need to get under a different channel, or a different stream, or something.

But I don't . . .  I'm not just talking about age either.

Sometimes we're not old, but we just still feel like we're just wasted.  We've done all we can do.

I just sense that the Lord will surprise us, if we'll let Him, and He'll use us in ways that we would never have dreamed or imagined that we could be used because this is such a critical hour, such an important time.

So I just want to encourage you, quit looking at your expiration date and deciding that you're no longer useful in the Kingdom of God and just say, "Lord, I must be used.  Because if You don't use me, I don't have any reason to live."

Does anybody feel that way?  That's how I feel - "Lord, if You can't use me, there's not much else to live for except to be used in Your Kingdom for Kingdom purposes."

Let's just let the Lord use us more and in ways that He never has before.

God, give us Words in season.  Give us more of those divine appointments, Lord.

In whatever way, big or small, just let us be used for Your glory in the wonderful name of Yeshua, we thank You.  We thank You.
