When he seen this Angel come down with a rainbow over His head, put one foot on the land, and one on the sea, and held up His hands, and swore by Him that lives from ever and ever.  When those seven voices uttered their--the Seven Thunders uttered their voices, He said, "Seal it; not known until the last day."   He said.  "But the time this mystery of God should be finished, when these will be revealed to the Church; and He swore by Him that lives forever and forever, that time should be no more."

Listen what He said there then.  He said, "Go thy way, Daniel; shut up the Book."  See?  "For thou shall rest, and you shall stand in the last days in your lot.  But many of those who turn many to righteousness shall outshine the stars forever and forever."

There you are, "stars," those seven ministers, seven ministers, through Seven Church Ages, which consists of two thousand years.

From the first two-thousand years, the antediluvian destruction; second two-thousand years, the first coming of Christ; the third two-thousand years, the sixth, is the second coming of Christ; and the millennium, and the end, the seventh-day rest.

(39-4)  The Bible said here that that would be one of the mysteries that would be unfolded. Protestants, prostitutes committing spiritual fornications, leading people by denominations with their cup of iniquity of manmade doctrine, and pulling them away from the fountain filled with Blood, where the power of Almighty God flows freely to manifest Jesus Christ.

If that's true, then God will back it up; and He has done it; and He will continue. But when that comes to pass, the Word is finished.

Now, there's only one thing left.  That is the seven thunders that we don't know; and it would not have thundered in vain.  God don't do something just to be playing.  We play and act silly, but not God.  Everything with God is "yea and nay."  He doesn't just fool.  He doesn't kid.  He means what He says, and He says nothing 'less there's something meaning to it.

(40-3)  And seven thunders right in the revelation here of Jesus Christ, is some mystery.  Does not the Bible say that this is the revelation of Jesus Christ?  Why, there's some hidden mystery then of it.  What is it?  The seven thunders have it.  For John was just about to write, and a voice came down from heaven, said, "Don't write it.  But seal it.  Seal it up.  Put it on the backside of the Book."  It's got to be revealed.  It's the mysteries.

Now, we solved out these things by the Holy Spirit.  It's told us it wasn't apples; it was sexual. Told us these things...  There's not no-one able to stand before it.  I never seen a preacher in my life agreed with it.  But I've asked them.

THE FIRST SEAL  (1963-03-18, Jeffersonville, IN)

(128-2) {75}  And then there's coming forth seven mysterious thunders that's not even written at all. That's right.   And I believe that through those seven thunders will be revealed in the last days in order to get the Bride together for rapturing faith; because what we got right now, we--we wouldn't be able to do it.  There's something we've got to step farther; we--we can't have enough faith for Divine healing hardly.  We've got to have enough faith to be changed in a moment and be swept up out of this earth, and we'll find that after a while, the Lord willing, find where it's written.

THE FIRST SEAL  (1963-03-18, Jeffersonville, IN)

(142-1) {166}  But think, now he wrote this, but when he started to write those other seven thunders, he said, "Don't write it."  He'd been commissioned to write everything he seen.  But when these seven thunders over in Revelations 10 uttered, he said, "Don't write them at all."  They're mysteries.  We don't know what they are yet; but my opinion they'll be revealed right away. And when it do, it'll give faith for that rapturing grace for that Church to move out.  We just move through everything that we know of; through all the dispensations we've watched everything.   We've seen the mysteries of God.  We've seen the appearing of the--of the great gathering together of the Bride in the last days, but yet there's something in there that we just can't lighten ourself with. There's something another.  But I imagine when them mysteries begins to come forth...  God said, "Hold it back now.  Wait a minute.  I'll reveal it in that day.  Don't write it at all, John, 'cause they'll stagger over it.  Just let--let it go.  (See?)  But I'll reveal it in that day when it has need to done."

They never uttered for nothing.  You remember, like the little drop of ink, everything is for a purpose.  Everything's for a cause.  But notice, the Creator uttered, and he had a--he heard this voice, and he went to see.

THE THIRD SEAL  (1963-03-20, Jeffersonville, IN)

(253-2) {182}  Now, that's what's the reason today that the--the revivals that we're supposed to have...  We have denominational revivals; we haven't had a real stirring.  No, no, no, no.  No, sir. Don't think we got revivals.  We haven't.  Oh, they've got millions and millions and millions of church members, but not a revival nowhere.  No, no.

The--the Bride hasn't had a revival yet.  See?  There's been no revival there, no manifestation of God to stir the Bride yet.  See?  We're looking for it.  It will take those seven unknown thunders back there to wake her up again.   He will send it.  He promised it.  Now, now, watch. Now, she was--she was dead.

THE SEVENTH SEAL  (1963-03-24E, Jeffersonville, IN)

(575-4) {390}  Notice, there is a whole earth is to be purged.  There will be such a thing that the moon, stars, and all nature will be purged.  You see what it is?  The earth is renewing herself, being purged, getting ready for the millennium.  The millennium's coming up.  And see, everything that's got any filth in it is to be purged during the Sixth Seal.

Now, now, do you notice on the opening of this Seventh Seal, it's also in a threefold mystery.  This one I have--will speak and have spoke, that it is the mystery of the seven thunders.  The seven thunders in heaven will unfold this mystery.  It'll be right at the coming of Christ, because Christ said no one knew when He would return.

THE SEVENTH SEAL  (1963-03-24E, Jeffersonville, IN)

(575-6) {392}  Did you notice when the Jews asked Him that?  You know when we compared the Scripture here with Matthew 24 with the six Seals, the Seventh Seal was left out; because (You see?), Christ said only God Himself knowed, not even the Angels.  No wonder, it wasn't even written.  You see, they hushed; nothing take place then.  Angels don't know it; nobody knows when He's coming.  But there'll be a...  There'll be seven voices of these thunders that will reveal the great revelation at that time.

So I believe, to us who...  If we don't know it, and we--we--it won't be knowed till that time, but it will be revealed in that day, in the hour that it's supposed to be revealed in.  So the thing for us to do is to be reverent before God and serve Him, and do all that we know how to do, and live good Christian lives.

Here now, we find that the Sixth Seal has been opened to us; we see it, and we know that this Seventh Seal cannot be broke to the public until that hour arrives.

THE SEVENTH SEAL  (1963-03-24E, Jeffersonville, IN)

(567-1) {322}  Now, notice.  So help me, by God I tell the truth, that these are spiritually discerned to me (See?), discerned by the Holy Spirit.  And by every one of them, has identified his place in the Bible.

Now, what this great secret is that lays beneath this Seal, I do not know.  I don't know it.  I couldn't make it out.   I couldn't tell it, just what it and just what it said.  But I know that it was them seven thunders uttering themselves right close together, just banging seven different times, and it unfolded into something else that I seen.

Then when I seen that, I looked for the interpretation that flew across there, and I couldn't make it out.  That's exactly right, friend.  See?  The hour isn't quite yet for it, but it's moving into that cycle.  See?  It's coming up close.  So the thing for you to do is to remember that I speak to you in the Name of the Lord: Be prepared, for you don't know what time something can happen.

(273)  Everyone, they was always come to me, said, "Brother Branham, them seven thunders that the voice thundered, and he said 'Write it not (See?), but close it up,'" said, "that'll be seven thunders that will be revealed in the last days?  See, seven thunders that'll tell us?"  Now, don't that sound real good?  See?  But watch what you're talking about when you say that.  He said, "See that you write it not."  See?  These seven thunders uttered their voices (See?), and He said, "Don't write that (See?), but It's to be sealed up in the Book until the last days."

We Need to know it…

THE LAODICEAN CHURCH AGE  (Church Age Book, Chapter 9)

(324-1)  It was in the end-time period that the seven thunders of Jesus came forth.

Revelation 10:3-4, "And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.  And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not."

What was in those thunders no one knows.  But we need to know.  And it will take a prophet to get the revelation because God has no other way of bringing out His Scriptural revelations except by a prophet.  The Word always came by a prophet and always will.  That this is the law of God is evident by even a casual search of Scripture.  The unchanging God with unchanging ways invariably sent His prophet in every age where the people had strayed from Divine order.  With both the theologians and the people having departed from the Word, God always sent His servant to these people (but apart from the theologians) in order to correct false teaching and lead the people back to God.
